About us
The Modestic story is a journey from a beauty salon to a brand that trains, services and equips clinics for laser removal across more than a dozen countries. Here are the milestones, year by year.
In September 2013 I came to Poland to begin studies in Cosmetology at WSIiZ in Rzeszów. I look back on those studies very fondly for the sheer volume of hands-on classes.

As part of my work placement during studies I took a job at a beauty salon, where in a tiny room I carried out powder henna treatments.

After almost a year of work and several powder henna courses I became interested in permanent make-up. I completed my first 2 courses in the field and started developing in that direction.

I had more and more clients for henna and permanent make-up. I sublet rooms in two different clinics until I could finally afford my own salon. I named it The Brow Bar.

I began actively running courses in powder henna and permanent make-up. The Brow Bar salon already had a team of 5.

I moved to premises in a historic tenement house with a fantastic view over Rzeszów. After several months of renovation this cosy salon began welcoming its first clients. I consider it one of my best investments.

The salon underwent a huge transformation: the name and colours changed and we introduced many conveniences for clients. The refreshed salon, named Modestic, opened its doors in March 2020 and immediately closed for lockdown.

Before the virus struck I had signed a lease for a beautiful space in Katowice. Over several months of lockdown we prepared for its opening. Despite my efforts, after six months I had to close the second Modestic location — those were not the best of times for business.

In the first half of 2020 I completed several laser removal courses and spent almost 2 years developing in that direction. I ran my first own courses in safe laser removal. In December our whole family moved to Warszawa.

We added the Modestic Classic laser to the range — the first device under our brand.

Safe laser removal took me over entirely, and running the Rzeszów salon from Warszawa was hardly effective. I made the difficult decision to close it, but it freed up time and energy that I devoted to working with the laser. Towards the end of the year I developed the second version of my training script.

Early in the year we introduced the Modestic Pro laser — a compact station that quickly became one of our flagship devices.

After a very intensive previous year I released an online course in safe laser work, which complemented my offer perfectly. Thanks to the availability of the online course, linergists from more than 10 countries took advantage of this remote learning option.

More and more salons asked where they could repair a laser without shipping it abroad and weeks of downtime. That is how the Modestic service was born — our own workshop where we diagnose, repair and service aesthetic lasers so equipment returns to work as quickly as possible.

At the end of the year we introduced the dual-crystal Modestic Ultra laser — a compact device combining two wavelengths in a single handpiece.

The Modestic Silk diode laser joined the range — extending the portfolio with another technology for clinics.

After the Silk we introduced the portable Modestic Nova laser — a mobile device for clinics working across several locations.

We organised two industry conferences — the first on 24 May, the second in November.

We introduced the picosecond Modestic Pico laser — the fastest technology in our portfolio.

The Nd:YAG Q-Switch Modestic Edge laser joined the range.

From February we tour industry trade fairs throughout the year — showing the lasers and meeting clinics in person.

We released the Removal 360° online course — a comprehensive programme for learning safe laser removal.

We organised the Removal 360° conference for linergists — a day of meetings, lectures and exchanging experience in one place.

We are introducing the new klik brand and opening a dedicated salon for PMU and tattoo removal.

We visited an industry trade fair in Korea — at the source of laser technology.
